Gîtes de France® Initiatives is taking action to support the departments affected by the fires
Let’s all support Gîtes de France® owners
The wildfires currently ravaging several regions of France are having a significant impact not only on many residents, but also on some property owners within the Gîtes de France® network. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, it is raising funds to support the affected owners and help them cope with the consequences of this disaster.
✊A solidarity fund to take action
In collaboration with the relevant local authorities, a survey of the affected properties is currently underway to assess precisely:
- the damage suffered by owners and their accommodation
- any closures or cancellations of stays
- the resulting loss of business
The funds raised will be used to provide support to the hardest-hit property owners, according to the needs identified.
