Are you forced to cancel your holiday?

Cancelling a trip a few days before departure can be very costly: without insurance, a last-minute cancellation means losing the full cost of the holiday.

Because emergencies happen when you least expect them, assistance and insurance policies are in place to help you deal with these situations.

Not taking out cancellation insurance is a false economy.

Only ‘ premium” credit cards » that include insurance cover (cancellation, luggage, etc.), and their cover is generally more limited than that of a dedicated policy.

A Meetch policy effectively complements the cover provided by your card.

Meetch will reimburse you for any cancellation fees retained by Gîtes de France, up to a limit of €5,000 per person and 20,000 € per event,

in the event of a large number of personal or professional life events.

¹For cover relating to late arrival and interruption of stay, you will be asked to provide supporting evidence.

Please note: cover can only be taken out for a booking made with thebooking agency, either by telephone or email, or online (via the internet). This insurance must be taken out at the time of booking.

The Insured must be resident in France, in the French overseas departments, regions and communities (DOM-ROM COM) and sui generis entities, or in Europe:

Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion, French Polynesia, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, Wallis and Futuna, Mayotte, Saint Martin, Saint Barthélemy, New Caledonia, Germany, Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, mainland France, Gibraltar, Hungary, Greece, Ireland, Italy and its islands, Liechtenstein, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Principality of Monaco, Norway, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, the United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, San Marino, Sweden and Switzerland.

What to do in the event of a cancellation?

1. Notify Gîtes de France Anjou

Please inform us in writing as soon as the event occurs, on 02 41 88 50 44 or at resa@gites-de-france-anjou.com.

We will acknowledge receipt and provide you with a statement.

2. Submit your claim for reimbursement

If you have taken out the Classic (no. 10533) or Premium (no.10531), Meetch will reimburse you for these penalties (excluding the insurance premium and booking fees),

with no excess — except in the case of cancellation or late arrival due to Covid (excess of 30 €).

Meetch will process the refund after reviewing your claim.

Please note: complete the form you received by email from Meetch as soon as possible, within 5 days of the event.

Claim for compensation

Online (the quickest option): As soon as you receive the email from Meetch, complete the form.

If you have not received it, log in to gites-de-france-en-anjou.claim.meetch.io/gitesdefrance using the email address provided at the time of booking, then send us your supporting documents.
