Scottish charm in Anjou: that's what you can expect at Chez June. Located in a former coaching inn in the heart of the village of Beaulieu-sur-Layon, this stone house with its antiques-style atmosphere is an ideal base! In the heart of the Layon, a number of vineyards are open for wine tasting. Marc and June will be delighted to advise you on your visits to the Anjou region, and to share with you their best addresses for wine cellars and restaurants. The banks of the Loire, their biodiversity and the "Loire by bike" route are just 10 km away. The Corniche Angevine also offers sublime views over the Loire Valley, also 10 km away. Angers, with its Château des Ducs d'Anjou, Musée des Beaux-Arts, Galerie David d'Angers and Terra Botanica plant park, is just 25 minutes away. For a day trip, the Puy du Fou is 40 minutes away.
June and Marc welcome you to their two private bedrooms on the first floor of their house. Each has comfortable bedding and private bathroom facilities. In the morning, you can enjoy a breakfast of local produce in the kitchen or garden. The "Blairgowrie" suite, named after Mary Stuart, the Scottish queen, consists of a bedroom with a 150 cm x 190 cm bed and a second bedroom with an 85 cm x 190 cm bed and a cot. It has a shower room with a large shower and a private WC.
