Jean-Claude and Martine welcome you all year round to La Pichonnière, a beautiful family home full of character dating from the 19th century, ideally situated between Angers and Saumur. In the heart of the Aubance and Layon vineyards, your stay will be an opportunity to discover the many appellations of the region with the winegrowers. Many of Anjou's tourist attractions are nearby: the Château de Brissac is 5 minutes away, the Doué la Fontaine Biopark is 15 minutes away, and the troglodyte village of Louresse-Rochemenier is 15 minutes away.
Located in the commune of Brissac, the 4 guest rooms all have en suite facilities and very comfortable bedding. A courtesy tray is available in each room.
- The "Mésange" and "Zen" rooms on the ground floor have a garden area with a terrace. The Zen room has a small private kitchen with everything you need for cooking (fridge, microwave, 2-burner hob, etc.).
- The "Garennes" rooms and the family room, comprising the "Ecureuil" and "Hérisson" rooms, are located upstairs.
Jean-Claude and Martine will be delighted to share their tips for visits, restaurants and wine cellars with you over a hearty breakfast featuring local produce from an AMAP and pastries from their baker.
Children are welcome in these guest rooms, and parking is available for cars, motorbikes and bicycles.
Fascinated by their native Anjou and by travelling, Jean-Claude and Martin open their large family home, built of tuffeau stone, typical of the banks of the Loire, where three generations still live. For many years they have restored and designed it to comfortably accommodate guests, whether for one night or several.
At the end of the alleyway of hundred-year-old chestnut and walnut trees, you can join the route of Saint Jacques de Compostelle towards Mont Saint-Michel.
These guest rooms in Brissac are 25 minutes from Angers, 15 minutes from Doué la Fontaine and 35 minutes from Saumur and its famous château.
