Between Angers and Saumur, the Gaignardière guest house offers a peaceful interlude in the heart of Anjou, ideal for a stopover or a relaxing break in the Loire Valley. Jacqueline and Michel offer you a warm welcome in a renovated former farmhouse, located in a quiet hamlet surrounded by vineyards and the Loire countryside, in the commune of Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire.
The house has three comfortable bedrooms, decorated with simplicity and authenticity.
- On the ground floor, the Coquelicot room has a 140x190cm double bed.
- Upstairs, you'll find two other bedrooms: the Rose with a 140x190cm double bed, and the Jonquille with two 90x190cm single beds, ideal for friends or family.
Each room has en suite facilities (shower, WC, vanity unit), courtesy tray (bottle of water, kettle, tea and coffee), desk and armchair, for a comfortable, independent stay.
A large, bright room is available for guests to relax in. Breakfasts are served in this room, overlooking the garden, and are made from fresh or home-made produce. There is also a fridge, microwave and large flat-screen TV. Outside, the courtyard and wooded garden invite you to relax, with garden furniture and private parking.
The location is ideal for exploring the Anjou region: the banks of the Loire 3 km away, the Loire à Vélo cycle route 4 km away, Brissac-Quincé and its château 12 km away, Saumur, its equestrian heritage and troglodytic caves 35 km away, Angers, its historic centre and the Château des Ducs d'Anjou 20 km away.
Hiking, cycling, wine tourism, heritage and local gastronomy will punctuate your stay in this charming guest house, in the heart of the UNESCO Loire Valley.
