A former 19th-century barn, this gîte welcomes you to Bellevigne-en-Layon, in the Anjou region, for a holiday with family or friends.
Discover the region's many tourist attractions. The Layon vineyards will be delighted to show you around and offer wine-tasting sessions. For hiking and cycling enthusiasts, the Layon valley is just a few kilometres from this gîte and offers a great spot for fishing enthusiasts. You can also go for walks and mushroom picking (depending on the season) in the Beaulieu forest, 4 km from this gîte. The Loire, its châteaux, cycling routes and dance halls are just 15km away. For cultural visits, Angers, with its Château des Ducs d'Anjou, cathedral and museums, is 25 km away. The town of Saumur, with its famous black frame and vineyards, is 45km away.
La Grange aux Fleurs, which, as its name suggests, has a seasonal flower garden and has preserved its original character with its beams and stone walls.
The living room opens onto a lovely dining room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen and a sofa bed that can be used for extra sleeping. On the ground floor, there is a shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC.
Upstairs, the mezzanine doubles as a lounge, with a television and a sofa bed that can be used as an extra bed for a child. There are two bedrooms upstairs (one with a 140cm x 190cm bed and the other with two 90cm x 190cm beds). Separate WCs are also available upstairs.
The gîte is located next to the owners' house, who leave their large enclosed garden full of flowers at guests' disposal. For added privacy, there is a lawned area with trees and deckchairs, as well as a wooden terrace where you can eat your meals or relax in the deckchairs. A baby mattress and high chair are available in the accommodation.
You can park your car in the private courtyard.
A wi-fi connection is available. Electricity (over 8 kwh) and heating (electric) are extra.
