In the heart of the Layon vineyards, the Logis de la Brunetière is a historic residence built in 1489 and completely renovated in 2011, combining the charm of the past with contemporary comforts. Set in calm, leafy surroundings, this vast gîte is the perfect place for a large family or a get-together with friends.
Outside, the spaces have been designed to take full advantage of the natural surroundings. A large terrace under a pergola is perfect for convivial meals, while the wooded grounds offer plenty of places to relax throughout the property. Leisure facilities include a petanque area, table tennis table, trampoline, volleyball and badminton net, barbecue and several garden furniture areas scattered around the garden.
Covering an area of 205 m², the house offers spacious accommodation suitable for groups. On the ground floor, a vast, fully-equipped kitchen can accommodate up to fourteen guests around a large table. The lounge, with its cosy fireplace, has plenty of comfortable seating for sharing. There is also a bedroom with a 140 cm bed on this level, and a shower room with shower and WC, as well as a separate toilet.
Upstairs, the sleeping area comprises several bedrooms with different configurations. Bedroom 2 has a 160 cm bed and a 90 cm bed. Bedroom 3 has a 140 cm bed. Bedroom 4 has two 140 cm beds and a 90 cm bed. Bedroom 5 has a 140 cm bed and two 90 cm beds, and its own private bathroom with shower and vanity unit. A separate bathroom completes the first floor, with bath, shower and double washbasin. There is also a relaxation area with a library on the landing, offering a quiet and pleasant corner.
From the gîte, it's easy to explore the wine-growing landscapes of the Layon hillsides and quickly reach the major sites of the Loire Valley, such as the Château de Brissac or the banks of the Loire, ideal for walks and heritage discoveries.
The Logis de la Brunetière 1, a neighbouring gîte that sleeps 6 people, is also ideal for larger holidays, as it can accommodate several people on the same site.
