From the private terrace high up, you can enjoy a lovely, unobstructed view over the countryside and typical vineyard landscapes. This gîte is an ideal base for exploring the Anjou region, the Loire Valley and its many tourist attractions. Nature lovers will love the walks and cycle rides through the vineyards, which are directly accessible from the gîte. The banks of the Loire and the Loire à Vélo cycle route are around 15 km away. The Château de Brissac, the highest castle in France, is 15 km away. Doué-la-Fontaine and its famous Bioparc are 25 km away. Angers and its Château des Ducs d'Anjou are 40 km away, as are Saumur, famous for its château overlooking the Loire and its Cadre Noir, and Cholet.
Located on the first floor and accessible via a secure staircase, the gîte opens onto a convivial living area with a dining area, a sitting area and a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The sleeping area has two bedrooms, each with a 140 cm double bed. A single 90cm bed is available on request. There is a shower room with shower, washbasin and washing machine, as well as a separate toilet.
Make your stay a real wine-tourist interlude in the Anjou region. The owners, who are passionate wine-growers, will be delighted to show you their trade and offer wine-tasting sessions, with the possibility of buying bottles directly on site. The pond in front of the gîte is ideal for relaxing in the heart of nature, organising a picnic or fishing without a licence for roach, carp and perch.
