Looking for peace and quiet? Then Les Celliers is the place for you! This former 18th-century wine cellar was completely restored in 2006, and is located in a hamlet of character in the heart of the vineyards. The key to a relaxing stay here is to recharge your batteries. Your stay will be an opportunity to discover the treasures of our region: the Château de Brissac-Quincé 3 minutes away, Angers, its historic city centre and walks along the banks of the Maine 23 minutes away, or the Terra Botanica plant park 20 minutes away. As the gîte is right in the heart of the vineyards, there are plenty of wine-tasting opportunities in the surrounding area, with many fine appellations to discover (anjou, saumurois, côteaux du layon...). For a family holiday, the Doué-en-Anjou Biopark is just 25 minutes away, and there are plenty of activities on offer nearby (Icepark skating rink in Angers, cinemas, swimming pools, etc.). If you drive along the Loire, or take the Loire cycle route 10 km from the gîte, the natural heritage of Europe's longest untamed river invites you to take a stroll and enjoy the many guinguettes. Just 40 minutes away, in the east of the département, is Saumur, with its château and famous "cadre noir".
This detached gîte, built of slate schist with tuffeau (local limestone) door and window surrounds, comprises a pleasant, light-filled ground-floor living room with a lounge area, a sitting room and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. There are also two bedrooms, one with a 160cm x 200cm bed and the other with a 140cm x 200cm bed, and a utility room with a heated washing machine. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms and WCs.
Upstairs, a third bedroom with two 90 cm x 200 cm beds and its own shower room and WC would be perfect for children or friends.
Outside, the 890m² garden, with its pretty flowers, is perfect for sunny meals in fine weather, with garden furniture, barbecue and sun loungers. The exterior is fully enclosed, with private parking.
Included in the rental price: baby chair/cot, baby bath, wi-fi internet connection.
