Situated between Angers and Saumur, this former Angevin house is surrounded by nature, between vineyards and woods, in the middle of troglodyte caves, offering you a rural and relaxing setting.
Diane, a winegrower on her family estate just a few minutes from the gîte, and Guillaume will be delighted to share their passion for the vines in this beautiful region and help you discover the different appellations of the Anjou vineyards.
The gîte opens onto a living room with open-plan kitchen (electric hob, dishwasher, oven, microwave, etc.), dining room and sitting area with television. On the ground floor, the gîte has one bedroom with a 140x190cm double bed, a shower room and a separate toilet. Upstairs, there are 2 attic bedrooms (each with two 90cm single beds) and a shower room with WC.
Outside, you can enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the view over the vineyards (garden furniture, garden chairs, barbecue, etc.). You can also park your car in the gîte's courtyard.
Shops are 10 minutes away in Brissac, famous for its castle, the highest in France! The banks of the Loire can be reached in 10 minutes, and Angers and Saumur in 30 minutes.
Located in the Loire-Anjou-Touraine Regional Nature Park, you can enjoy all the pleasures of nature and the banks of the Loire: hiking trails, the "Loire à vélo" cycle path, visits to vineyards and châteaux, etc. From the gîte, you can set off on an undulating circuit offering landscapes of crops, including artichokes, seeds, flowers, etc., and vineyards, as well as a visit to the Manoir de la Caillère, an art gallery in a troglodyte site.
