Situated between Angers and Laval, this former 16th-century presbytery is set in a bucolic setting! Chenillé-Changé (part of the new commune of Chenillé-Champteussé) is a village with the "Villages de Charme" label, and is renowned for protecting its heritage and environment. With views and direct access to the banks of the Mayenne, this gîte is ideal for a rejuvenating break. There are plenty of activities nearby: La Flèche zoo is 50 minutes away, La Mine Bleue, a former mining site open to visitors, is 30 minutes away, La Petite Couère, an eco-museum, is 25 minutes away, and the Arche refuge, which specialises in taking in wild animals, is 20 minutes away. There are plenty of walks to discover the Anjou countryside, particularly along the Mayenne towpath. Terra Botanica, Angers and its historic city centre are just 40 minutes away.
The gîte is on one level and comprises: a living room with a small fully-equipped kitchen (microwave, gas hob, gas oven, fridge, etc.), a sitting area with TV and a dining area. Two bedrooms, each with a 160cm x 200cm bed and a 90cm x 190cm bed. Shower room and separate WC.
The enclosed garden planted with trees and overlooking the Mayenne will delight young and old alike! Barbecue, garden furniture and parasols for long lunches in the sunshine. Down below, public children's play equipment is available, along the banks of the Mayenne (slide and seesaw).
