You'll be welcomed by Marie and Henry, a couple of retired winegrowers, both natives of the region, with expert advice on what to see and discover.
Set in the heart of the vineyards and close to the owners' house, the 88m² single-storey gîte is spacious and bright. It comprises a living room with a fitted and equipped kitchen, a fireplace, a separate lounge with armchairs and a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 extra people, a bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190cm) and a second bedroom with 1 single bed (90x190cm) and 1 double bed (110x190cm).

In front of the gîte, part of the courtyard is reserved for you with garden furniture, barbecue, sun lounger, parasol... A small area of lawn of around 60m². You will have access to the meadow, garden and more than 4 hectares of vines located behind the owners' house. Great walks ahead!
Doué La Fontaine is just over 10 minutes away. Here you'll find all the services and shops you need for everyday life, as well as a host of tourist attractions: Le BIOPARC, a large animal park housing 1,500 animals in a former falun quarry. The only troglodytic zoo in the world! You can also visit the many tourist sites, such as the Mystère des Faluns. Doué la Fontaine is also the emblematic town of the Rose. Saumur and the banks of the Loire are 30 minutes from the gîte. Visit this ancient town and its legendary cavalry at the Cadre Noir, the Château and the Théätre. Brissac-Quincé and the highest castle in France are 20 minutes away. Angers is 35 minutes away.
Last but not least, don't miss out on a tasting of the local wines; the many winegrowers around the gîte will be happy to give you all the information you need and help you discover the Coteau du Layon, Anjou and Saumur regions...
