Authenticity and calm: these are the key words for a stay at the Bardigneaux gîte. Ideally located in Les Rosiers-sur-Loire, a commune of Gennes Val de Loire, the charm of the exposed beams and tufa facade will delight young and old alike. Just 500 m from the gîte, you can cycle along the Loire, discovering the flora and fauna while taking a break in one of the many guinguettes open in season. Discover the many treasures of our heritage, such as troglodyte sites (Rochemenier village 25 minutes away), Saumur and its famous black frame 20 minutes away, the châteaux of the Loire (Brézé and its underground passages 30 minutes away or Brissac, the highest château in France 25 minutes away) and, of course, Fontevraud Abbey, a key site of the Plantagenêts dynasty. For a family outing, the Doué-la-Fontaine Biopark is just 25 minutes away. If you're a wine-lover, your stay will be an opportunity to sample the many local appellations (Saumur Champigny, Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, etc.) from the local wine-growers. All the shops, the market with its local produce and a visit to the bell tower (offering a panoramic view of the valley) on Monday mornings are just 2 km from the gite, in the market town of Les Rosiers-sur-Loire.
On the ground floor, the gîte opens onto a pleasant living area comprising a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, a sitting room (with pellet stove and tufa stone fireplace) and a dining area. There is also a bedroom with a 160cm x 200cm bed, a shower room and a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs, you will find: two bedrooms (one with a 140cm x 190cm bed, the second with two 90cm x 190cm beds), a mezzanine lounge area with TV, and a shower room with WC.
Outside, garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue are the winning combination for a sunny meal! Games available: badminton net, petanque pitch, molkky.
You can work from home in your holiday rental thanks to a broadband internet connection (Orange). Some equipment is available: a desk, a desk lamp, an extension lead and a multiple socket.
