The gîte is a typical Anjou house, with its tufa stone walls and small cellars set in a cliff of falun rock. Our charming little gîte combines modern comforts with old stone. It's a cosy little nest where life is good, with a bucolic garden to relax in. Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, you'll be woken by the sound of birdsong. The cul-de-sac leads to a footpath that is ideal for visiting the woods, meadows, village and château. The gîte is ideally situated for discovering the wonders of the Loire Valley: explore the Loire on foot or by bike, in a gabare, by canoe, on horseback or in a hot-air balloon, Doué-La-Fontaine is 5 minutes away, with its rose city and zoo, and Rochemenier: a typical troglodyte village. You can also enjoy traditional "fouées" and discover the various vineyards in the region.
The 95m² gîte comprises a ground-floor living room with fitted kitchen, dining room and working fireplace. A separate lounge with a large, comfortable sofa for relaxing and reading, overlooking the garden (with television). A bathroom (bath/shower) and a laundry room with washing machine. Separate WC.
Upstairs are two bedrooms: a master bedroom with a very comfortable double bed (160x200) and another bedroom with two single beds. The third bedroom, with a 140x190 bed, is in a small outbuilding attached to the house and has a private shower room (Italian-style shower, washbasin and toilet). To ensure your comfort all year round, the outbuilding and its shower room are closed in winter, but the third bedroom is in the living room.
The gîte is equipped with air conditioning, ideal for cool moments in summer. The flower-filled garden features a pergola, barbecue and working bread oven. A covered area is also available. Parking available in front of the house.
The gîte has Wi-Fi internet access.
