Fancy a stay with a breathtaking view of Europe's longest wild river? The Chez Annie gîte is just the place! A completely renovated 19th-century Angevin house with exposed beams, detached and not overlooked, this gîte is ideally situated along the Loire! With its south-facing terrace, it's a great base for exploring many of the region's tourist attractions: Nantes, its famous machines and city centre are 50 minutes away by car (30 minutes by train), and Angers, its château and its Terra Botanica plant park are 30 minutes away. You can also walk or cycle along the Loire à Vélo cycle route and discover the surrounding villages (Saint Florent le Vieil and its abbey church, Chalonnes sur Loire and its market, Ile Béhuard, etc.). Other nearby activities include wine tasting at local wine producers, the Château de Serrant in St Georges sur Loire, and water sports.
On the ground floor, the gîte comprises a beautiful fully-equipped kitchen, a living room with television and tufa fireplace (not functional), a dining area, a shower room and separate WC.
Upstairs, you will find two spacious bedrooms: one with a 140cm x 190cm bed and the other with two 90cm x 190cm beds. Both bedrooms have views over the Loire.
Across the street, you'll find a pretty flower garden (not adjoining) with a terrace and a breathtaking view of the Loire! Garden furniture with parasol, plancha and chiliennes will help you make the most of this panoramic view. The garden has a lockable shed where you can store 4 bicycles.
For fishing enthusiasts, you can fish at the foot of the garden. There is a beach on the banks of the Loire 500 metres from the gîte. The SNCF train station is 500 metres away (Paris-Nantes line) and motorway access is 8 km away. As the gîte is located in Ingrandes-Le-Fresne-sur-Loire, you'll find plenty of shops and services.
Free parking available in the street (public car park). Baby equipment on request: cot, high chair and bath. Wi-fi internet connection.
Additional charges: electricity above 8 kwh, heating (electric).
