Welcome to your future corner of paradise on the banks of the Loire! Nestling in the charming village of Ingrandes-Le Fresne-sur-Loire, at the crossroads of Anjou and Brittany, this typical gîte welcomes you halfway between Angers and Nantes. And don't forget: it's one of the few villages to have direct contact with the Loire along its entire length. In other words, the river here is your downstairs neighbour.
Housed in an old fisherman's cottage, facing due south and boasting an uninterrupted view of the royal river, this holiday rental promises peace, charm and authenticity. Unusual bonus: in the dry season, you can literally fish from the courtyard (the Loire recedes up to 2 metres from the balcony).
The gîte comprises the following rooms on the ground floor:
- a fully-equipped kitchen
- A large living room with exposed beams and decorative fireplace
- Independent WC
- A 35 m² enclosed courtyard with ivy, oleanders, garden furniture, barbecue, deckchairs and children's play area. All with a direct view of the Loire (and the sunsets).
First floor:
- A bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm X 190cm) and 1 single bed (90 cm X 190cm)
- A second bedroom with 1 double bed (140cm X 190cm) + cot on request - with access to a south-facing terrace overlooking the river (perfect for a morning coffee or evening aperitif)
- A bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin
