This typical 19th-century Mauges barn, completely renovated in 2021 with exposed stonework and beams, is spacious and bright. The large bay windows open onto the unenclosed garden and the unoverlooked terrace, offering a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and its cows (the garden and outside areas are currently being landscaped).
Centrally located in the Anjou region, the house is within easy reach of a host of tourist attractions, including Europe's largest Japanese garden in Maulévrier (30 minutes away), the Layon valley and its vineyards, the Doué la Fontaine Biopark and the Camifolia gardens in Chemillé en Anjou.
This 6-person gîte has two bedrooms (one on the ground floor with a double bed and direct access to the terrace, and the other upstairs with two 90cm single beds that can be made into a large double bed). The mezzanine, which can be accessed from the industrial-style staircase, also has a double bed (the room has no shutters, but blackout curtains).
The large living area of 68m² comprises a sitting area with television and DVD player from which you can enjoy the views over the countryside, a dining table where you can enjoy your meals and the fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen has a fridge-freezer, a table-top oven, a coffee maker, a kettle, a dishwasher, a microwave, induction hobs ...
There is a shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC on the ground floor. A washing machine is also available in the laundry room.
