La Canche

Welcome to the gîte La Canche, the ideal place for a family break or a get-together with friends! Located just a few minutes from the banks of the Loire, your stay will be an opportunity to discover the Anjou region and all its treasures. Go for a walk or cycle along the Loire, or take a refreshing break in one of the many guinguettes open in season, just 5 minutes from this gîte! Saumur, its château and its famous black frame are just 25 minutes away. The perfect opportunity to explore the many châteaux along the Loire! For nature lovers, the Terra Botanica plant park is just 30 minutes away. Angers, with its Château des Ducs d'Anjou and activities such as an ice rink, cinema and theatre, is also just 30 minutes away. On the ground floor, the gîte opens onto a pleasant living room, with a cosy atmosphere thanks to the wood-burning stove and impressive bookcase, perfect for spending cosy evenings reading by the fire! Next door is a fully-equipped kitchen area, with everything you need to make even the fussiest cooks happy (thermomix available). There's also a comfortable dining area, a laundry room and a separate toilet. The first floor is accessed by a beautiful staircase designed to resemble the deck of a boat. There are 4 bedrooms: one with two 80cm x 200cm beds, two with 140cm x 190cm beds and one with a 160cm x 200cm bed. A bathroom with bath, a shower room with WC and separate WC are located upstairs. Outside, a veritable haven of peace awaits you! Garden furniture, a gas plancha, and relaxing chairs will punctuate your sunny days. The fully enclosed garden features fruit trees, a Japanese garden area and a vegetable patch. For the kids, there's a boat-shaped sandpit. Included in the rental price: wifi internet connection and even ethernet in the bedrooms, heating (wood and electric), electricity, hire of sheets and towels. The gîte does not have a television, so you can enjoy a totally unplugged stay!
