Just 20 minutes south-west of Angers, not far from the banks of the Loire, stay in this luxurious holiday cottage to recharge your batteries.
This old stone building was renovated in 2021 whilst retaining all its character: exposed stone walls and a cathedral-style room with exposed oak beams. Spanning 134m², you’ll find: a large, light-filled 60m² living area with a brand-new, fully fitted kitchen, a spacious dining area, a small table perfect for board games, and a lounge with a sofa, armchairs and a bench seat.
In the sleeping area:
- a beautiful 27m² master bedroom with a 160 x 200cm bed, a desk, a sofa and an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower, a vanity unit and a toilet.
- a second bedroom measuring 13m² with a 160 x 200cm bed (which can be separated into two 80cm beds)
- a third bedroom measuring 12m² with two 90 x 190cm beds (which can be joined to form a double bed measuring 180 x 190cm).
The second bathroom, with a bath, vanity unit and toilet, is accessible directly from bedrooms 2 and 3.
The property is adorned with pretty lamps, high-quality wooden furniture, paintings, mirrors, books and games… However, there is no television… switch off and enjoy a nature-filled holiday with plenty of on-site activities on offer:
- Tennis court (rackets and balls provided)
- Table tennis table (rackets and balls provided)
- 9m x 4m swimming pool (maximum depth 2m), open from 12/06/27 to 05/09/27, heated, available to guests from 11.00 to 19.00, shared with the owners.
From the living room, you can access your private outdoor area: a quiet spot, not overlooked, surrounded by nature, with garden furniture, a lounge area with armchairs and a coffee table, a barbecue and a parasol.
Private parking for 3 cars. Wi-Fi internet connection.
On the owners’ side of the property, there is a pond (unsecured) 50 metres from the gîte, though it is not visible from the gîte itself. The owners, who live on the same property, will be happy to advise you on activities available close to the gîte.
At the bottom of the path: the kangaroo garden and ‘L’Arche’ park with its mini-golf course. You’ll be 5 minutes’ drive from the Loire and 15 minutes’ cycle ride from the ‘Loire à Vélo’ cycle route. Nearby are the picturesque little villages of Savennières and Île de Béhuard, as well as the towns of Chalonnes-sur-Loire and Saint-Georges-sur-Loire, notably featuring the Château de Serrant.
