As you enter the gîte, the central room has a large dining area, a sitting room with television, and a fully-equipped kitchen. From here, you can access a small south-facing patio with garden furniture. On the other side, a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and carport lets you enjoy long summer evenings on the slopes of the tufa rock. Your private outdoor area is enclosed by a gate.
This holiday rental also has a large bedroom with a 140cm bed and a cot, a small bedroom with two 90cm beds, a shower room with shower and washbasin and a separate toilet.
The owner's house is next door, not overlooked. The gîte faces due south, making it perfectly healthy in all seasons. All rooms have windows and/or doors to the outside. You'll appreciate the coolness of the place, especially in summer. For periods when temperatures are lower, the central heating in each room and the open fireplace will provide you with a cosy atmosphere.
You're just 2.5km from the Thouet river and the Vélofrancette cycle route for cycling enthusiasts. There are plenty of places to visit nearby: Montreuil Bellay and its 12th- and 15th-century château are 10 minutes away, Doué la Fontaine and its Biopark are 15 minutes away, and Saumur's bubble cellars, Cadre Noir, château and the Loire River are 23 minutes away... Not forgetting the many wine estates, vineyards and picturesque villages of the Douessine region.
