Situated just a short distance from Saint-Mathurin-sur-Loire and its shops, this typical village on the banks of the Loire is an ideal base from which to explore the Loire Valley and its not-to-be-missed châteaux, vineyards and museums, as well as the towns of Angers and Saumur, not forgetting walks, cycle rides, canoeing and horse-riding along the river.
This holiday rental for 4 people has a gentle, soothing atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The gîte has retained all its character thanks to the exposed beams, the tufa fireplace and some original floor tiles, offering a harmonious balance between old-fashioned character and modern comforts.
On the ground floor, you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen, a cosy living room with sofas, wood-burning stove, flat-screen TV and DVD player, a bathroom with shower, vanity unit and towel warmer, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, a small landing leads to a master bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm double bed and a bedroom with two 90 x 190 cm single beds. Each bedroom has its own storage space and is fitted with memory foam mattresses and pillows for a good night's sleep.
The gîte is also ideally suited to teleworking, thanks to a high-speed Free internet connection and an office area equipped with an armchair, lamp, extension lead, multiple socket and RJ45 cable, located next to a bright window.
Outside, an east-facing wooden terrace allows you to make the most of outdoor meals and warm summer evenings. Sun loungers, a barbecue and a private 800 m² garden are all at your disposal. The rental price does not include electricity consumption of more than 8 kWh per day, or wood at a cost of 70 euros per stere, to be paid extra.
