In the heart of the Pays de la Loire region, in Nueil-sur-Layon, this character gîte is located on the ground floor of Château de Vaillé Rochereau, with its own entrance. The property, whose various wings date from the 15th, 16th and 17th centuries, offers an authentic and peaceful setting, ideal for a break for two at the château.
Situated just 10 km from Doué-la-Fontaine, famous for its troglodyte caves and Bioparc, 30 minutes from Saumur and the Loire, and around 1 hour from the Puy du Fou, the gîte is an ideal base from which to discover the region's wealth of attractions: châteaux of the Loire, charming villages, troglodyte sites, Layon and Saumur wine cellars, not to mention the rolling vine-covered countryside.
The gîte opens onto a light-filled living room with large windows, lounge, TV and dining area. The fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) has a pleasant view over the property's garden.
The spacious 27 m² bedroom has a 180x190cm double bed (two 90x190cm beds can be made into a double bed), a wardrobe and a desk. There is also an en suite shower room with WC.
A washing machine is also available.
For your convenience, beds are made on arrival, towels are provided and end-of-stay cleaning is included. A flat rate of 20 kWh per day is included in the price (additional consumption billed at the end of the stay).
Internet connection available in the gîte. Partial telephone coverage depending on the room, but it is possible to make calls by wifi (fibre connection). Enclosed private parking on the property (several vehicles possible). Baby equipment available on request.
