The peace and quiet of the Mauges, halfway between Nantes and Angers: the ideal place to stay at La Picaudière! Situated in the village of Le Fuilet, right in the heart of the Mauges (the historic scene of the Vendée Wars), you can discover the local natural and historical heritage: the potter's house at Le Fuilet is just 5 minutes away, there's the "fil de l'Evre" walk (a 100 km trail along the Evre valley), and charming villages (Saint-Florent-le-Vieil 16 minutes away, Champtoceaux 17 minutes away, Montjean-sur-Loire 30 minutes away). The banks of the Loire, with their remarkable natural heritage, can be explored on foot or by bike, thanks to the "Loire à vélo" trail (15 minutes from this accommodation). For family outings, there are numerous sites close to the gîte: the L'Autre Usine complex in Cholet, 40 minutes away (go-karting, bowling, karaoke, laser game, billiards, escape game, football, volleyball, basketball, etc.). The Glisséo complex, also in Cholet, offers swimming (pools with slides) and skating (ice rink). The city of Nantes and its famous machines are 45 minutes from the gîte. Angers, with its historic centre and Terra Botanica plant park, is 50 minutes away.
On the ground floor, the gîte opens onto a modern, fully-equipped kitchen. The living room, with its dining area and sitting area with fireplace (perfect for an evening of reading by the fire), is bathed in light thanks to the large bay window. A shower room with walk-in shower and separate WC complete the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a study area with a sofa bed and 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms each with 2 single beds (90cm x 190cm) and 1 bedroom with a single bed (140cm x 190cm).
Outside, the peace and quiet of the countryside and the beauty of the scenery will delight young and old alike! A terrace with garden furniture, large grassy areas and a barbecue will provide the perfect setting for your summer meals.
