Peace and quiet are the key words for your stay at the Chemin de Beauséjour gîte! Situated between Angers and Nantes in the town of Drain, the gîte is at the crossroads of the wines of the Pays Nantais, the Ancenis hillside and the wines of Anjou. It's the perfect opportunity to discover them with the many winegrowers who open their doors for tastings! There are plenty of sites to discover during your stay: Natural'Parc, a wildlife and leisure park 10 minutes away in St Laurent des Autels, the Boissière du Doré zoo 15 minutes away, walks or cycle rides along the Loire 5 minutes away, cruises on Europe's longest wild river, and visits to nearby charming villages. Nantes, with its famous machines and its Château des Ducs de Bretagne, is 35 minutes away, and Angers, with its historic city centre, its Terra Botanica plant park and its banks of the Maine, is 45 minutes away.
The gîte opens onto a bright living room, with a sitting area (sofa bed, can accommodate two extra people on request) with TV, a dining area and a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen. This room leads to a shower room with shower, WC and washing machine. Up two steps, a corridor leads to two bedrooms: the first with a 140cm x 190cm bed and the second with two 90cm x 190cm beds.
Outside, a terrace with garden furniture and views over the vineyards is the perfect place to enjoy meals in the sunshine on sunny summer days. An enclosed space for cyclists means you can store your bikes safely! You can park your car in front of the gîte. You can also use the owners' swimming pool, 150m away, on request.
Pets are welcome on request. Wi-fi internet connection included. Accommodation entirely on one level (two steps to access bedrooms).
Extra charge: electricity above 8kwh per day (current EDF rate).
