Calm and soothing: these are the key words for a stay at the gîte La Grande Guibrette! Situated on the banks of the Loire, the terrace of this gîte overlooks Europe's longest untamed river. Your stay will be an opportunity to discover the treasures of the Loire: its biodiversity, its "La Loire à vélo" cycling route, its water sports activities and its many "guinguettes" (dance halls). In short, there's plenty to fill your holiday programme! Just 20 minutes from Angers, you can discover the city's rich history through its Château des Ducs d'Anjou, historic city centre, Cathédrale Saint Maurice and Galerie David d'Angers. A diversion to the Terra Botanica plant park, just 20 minutes away, will delight young and old alike! For fishing enthusiasts, the location of the gîte is ideal: you can fish directly on the water beside the gîte.
Set in a small hamlet, this 80 m² house adjoins the owner's house and offers a pleasant setting. From the hallway, a first bedroom is available with a 140cm x 190cm bed and a 90cm x 190cm bed. The second bedroom has a 140cm x 190cm bed and direct access to the terrace. It can be accessed directly from the shower room (with shower) or from the first bedroom. Private WC completes the gîte.
Outside, a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and sun loungers is available to guests, with a view over the Loire. Down below, a few dozen metres from the gîte, the enclosed garden on the banks of the Loire is a particularly pleasant place to enjoy a meal or go fishing. A swing is available for children.
