Ideally located for exploring the Loire Valley, it is an excellent base for visiting the Loire châteaux, the vineyards of Anjou and Saumur, the towns of Angers and Saumur, and for taking advantage of the many outdoor activities on offer, such as cycling, hiking, canoeing and horse-riding. Set in wooded surroundings, the gîte has grounds with uninterrupted views over the fields and surrounding countryside, with the occasional presence of the owners' horses to liven up the landscape.
Set in a large tufa stone farmhouse, this gîte, adjoining other accommodation, has retained all the charm of the past thanks to its traditional features such as tufa stone, terracotta floor tiles, oak beams and a monumental fireplace, which give the living rooms a warm, authentic atmosphere.
On the ground floor, there is a large, fully-equipped kitchen with a functional wood-burning stove, a comfortable living room with sofas and armchairs, a flat-screen TV and a hi-fi system, a bathroom with a bathtub and walk-in shower, and a separate toilet.
Upstairs, a landing leads to a bedroom with a 160 x 200 cm bed and a 90 x 190 cm bed, equipped with memory foam mattresses and pillows for maximum comfort, a second bedroom with two 90 x 190 cm beds and a separate toilet with washbasin.
From the kitchen, you have direct access to the terrace, which is furnished with small armchairs, garden furniture, a barbecue and chiliennes. This north-facing area is ideal for outdoor meals in hot weather. The grounds are private but not enclosed, and there is private parking in a gated courtyard. The gîte adjoins the gîte La Soupçonnière, reference H49G019716, with no overlooking of the outside areas, and the two accommodations can be rented together to sleep up to 9 people.
Wifi internet connection. The rental price does not include electricity consumption of more than 8 kWh per day, or wood (70 euros per stere), which must be paid extra.
