Located in Saumur, on the Ile d'Offard, in a tufa stone farmhouse classified as a remarkable building, the "La Loire" gîte is ideally situated. Close to the town's tourist attractions (Château de Saumur, Cadre Noir, museums, theatres) and the vineyards specialising in fine bubbles, you can stroll through the town's historic streets. The town's agenda is also punctuated by numerous events (Anjou Vélo Vintage in August, Festivini from June to September, etc.). This gîte in Saumur is easily accessible from the train station (about 10 minutes' walk) or by public transport (bus stop 100 m from the gîte) and is close to a variety of shops (bakery, mini-market, butcher, pharmacy within walking distance of the gîte).
On the ground floor, you'll find the living area, comprising a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, ceramic hob and wine cellar) and a sitting area with TV and DVD player, where you can relax on a quality sofa bed. There is also a separate toilet on the ground floor.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: the first is 11m² and has a 160x200cm bed, while the second is 14m² and also has a 160x200cm double bed and a 90x190cm single bed. The bathroom has a shower, two washbasins, an electric towel rail and a hairdryer. A second separate WC is located on this floor.
A private garage is also available for parking your vehicle. This will be shared with any guests staying in the gîte "L'Anjou" (H49G015762), which adjoins the gîte "La Loire", but you will have your own parking space in the latter.
For your comfort, bed linen and towels are included in the rental price. Beds are made for your arrival. A cot and high chair can be provided on request. Electricity and heating (electric) included.
