Halfway between Nantes and Cholet, La Guiltière is a small village of 150 inhabitants set amidst vineyards. An ideal base for exploring the region: Nantes and its Atlantic metropolis (45 minutes away), Cholet (28 minutes away), Clisson, its Italian inspiration and Hellfest festival (15 minutes away), the Nantes vineyards, the banks of the Sèvre river, the Vendée bocage and the Atlantic coast (accessible in 1 hour from the gîte). There are also a number of hiking trails close to the gîte, offering beautiful walks in the heart of the vineyards. For fishing enthusiasts, there are plenty of fishing spots in the vicinity of the gîte.
This house dates back to 1710 and is located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the heart of the small hamlet of La Guiltière. From the living room, you have access to a private terrace overlooking a hillside with a stream, a landscaped garden and a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside. A barbecue and garden furniture are at your disposal. Hammocks and deckchairs also invite you to relax amid the palm trees.
On the ground floor, you'll find a living area with a sitting room and a wood-burning stove to warm you up on winter evenings. There's also a flat-screen TV and sound bar. There is also an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen and dining area. There is also a separate toilet.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms. The first has a 160cm double bed. The second bedroom has three 90cm x 190cm beds. There is a shower room and separate WC on this floor.
An unenclosed carport is also available (located on the public highway). Wifi internet access and a cot are available on request. Electricity is extra above 8 kwh (electric heating). For the wood-burning stove, the first flambé is offered by the owners. As wood is not supplied, you can buy it directly from the owners or from a supplier near the accommodation.)
