Treat yourself to a break in this large family gîte, surrounded by 40 hectares of forest, ideal for disconnecting for the duration of your stay with family or friends.
Just 80 metres from the gîte, take advantage of two large ponds, each measuring 4,500m², and take some time out to wander through this private forest (you can walk for 1h30 inside the estate). You can fish in the ponds without a licence for carp, roach and predators (fishing with nets is strictly prohibited).

The gîte is reached by a flight of steps leading to a large 50m² terrace accessible directly from the living area, with large garden furniture, sun loungers and barbecue.
The gîte has three levels:
- On the ground floor, a large 55m² living room with dining area and fully-equipped kitchen, with wood-burning stove for those cold winter days. The room extends into a cosy chalet-style lounge with a large window overlooking the countryside. The sofa bed can sleep two when unfolded. Also on this level are 3 bedrooms (2 with 1 140cm bed and 1 with 2 bunk beds), a shower room with basin and shower and a separate toilet.
- Upstairs, a mezzanine overlooking the living room has two single beds. This mezzanine leads to the 3-person bedroom with a 140cm double bed and a 90cm single bed.
- On level -1, you'll find a shower room with a large shower, a small washbasin and a toilet, as well as a utility room with a washbasin, mirror and washing machine. And to finish off this level, a convivial room with bar, darts and table football.
Baby facilities (folding bed, high chair, bath). Private car park (not enclosed) in front of the gîte. Wifi internet connection. Poor telephone network coverage. Electric and wood heating included.
The owners, who are wine-growers, offer you a tour of their cellar and a free tasting session in their wine cellar.
When you rent this large gîte suitable for groups, you'll be just 12 minutes from Rocherfort-sur-Loire and the banks of the Loire. The surrounding villages are typical of the banks of the Loire: Savennières, La Possonnière, Chalonnes-sur-Loire, Bouchemaine and the charming island of Béhuard, a UNESCO World Heritage site. A little further afield is Angers, 30 minutes away, or Doué la Fontaine, 40 minutes away, with its troglodyte dwellings and Biopark, or the Puy du Fou near Les Herbiers.
