Looking for a relaxing break just a few minutes from Angers? La Planche gîte is just the place! Located in Saint-Sylvain-d'Anjou, just 8km from Angers town centre, this restored 18th-century orangery is ideal for a family break, close to the main roads. An ideal opportunity to discover the tourist, natural, heritage and gastronomic riches of the Anjou region. The Angers Exhibition Centre is just a few minutes from this gîte.
The gîte opens onto a 30m² living room with a bay window overlooking the garden, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting area with sofa and television. Upstairs, accessed by a long staircase, the mezzanine with a relaxation area leads to a shower room with a large walk-in shower and double basins, separate WC, a bedroom with two single beds (90x190cm) and a bedroom with a double bed (160x200cm).
The outside area will delight young and old alike! At your disposal: 2 hectares of grounds (to be shared with the owners who live on site) with chickens, ponies (depending on the season), donkey, sheep and dog, a swing, hammock and deckchairs. A private terrace with barbecue and garden furniture is accessible from the gîte.
A washing machine is available in the covered area outside the gîte. A covered parking space for one car is reserved for the gîte and additional vehicles can be parked in the courtyard. Wifi internet connection. Utilities included.
Many sites to visit are located close to the gîte: the Terra Botanica plant park 9 minutes away, the Maulévrier oriental park (Europe's largest Japanese garden) 50 minutes away, the Château à motte (Saint Sylvain d'Anjou) 9 minutes away, the Château du Plessis Macé 20 minutes away and the Château du Plessis Bourré 15 minutes away.
Wine-lovers and vineyard enthusiasts will find the Anjou region a great place to go for walks and visit numerous wine estates. Fishermen and nature lovers will appreciate the proximity of the banks of the Sarthe, Maine and Loire rivers, just a few kilometres from the gîte, offering interesting nature and bird-watching walks.
The historic city centre of Angers is 10 minutes away by car, and the shops in Saint-Sylvain-d "Anjou are 3km away (bakery, supermarket, butcher's, etc.).
